I re-did my connections. USB supplying power to the battery shield. 5V pin from battery shield to + rail on breadboard.
Sweet but pondering a little more.
So now the D1 is powered internally to 3.31 V?
I plan on powering my breadboard with a MB102.
With what I have learned I will set the MB102 to provide 5V to the breadboard.
Then I will connect the battery shield 5V pin to the breadboard + rail. Then connect the batteryshield 5V to supply the wemos D1 mini with 5V. That way the battery or the MB102 power is powering the wemos D1 mini.
Should I be concerned about the current draw if the battery shield is charging and powering the Wemos D1 mini?
I am considering putting 1000 uf capacitors between the MB102 +,- and the batteryshield and between the Wemos D1 mini +,-. From what I have read that is high but that shouldn't be a crazy uf capacitor.
Thanks for your replay.
